How to use
Make a JPG that fits a per-image upload limit.
- Choose your images
Click Choose files or drag JPG, PNG or WebP files onto the box. You can also paste a copied image with Ctrl+V or ⌘V. - Enter the upload limit
Set Maximum file size (KB), for example 200 for a 200 KB limit. Choose Maximum quality and a background color for transparent areas. - Compress and check the result
Click Compress to JPG. If the limit cannot be met, reduce Maximum width or Maximum height in Resize & rotate, or increase the KB limit, then try again. - Preview and download
Click a result thumbnail to inspect it. Use Download beside a file or Download ZIP for the successful batch. Save your results before leaving the page.

FAQ
Is the KB limit per image or for the whole ZIP?
The limit applies to each JPG, not to the ZIP. Here, 1 KB means 1,000 bytes, so a 200 KB limit means at most 200,000 bytes per successful result. The tool reports an error instead of offering an oversized JPG.
Why can’t my image meet the target size?
Some images need more space even at low quality. Reduce the dimensions or increase the target limit. The tool only changes dimensions when you set resize limits; it does not secretly shrink an image to pass the limit.
Can I keep PNG transparency or the original quality?
Compression here always exports JPG, which uses your chosen background for transparent areas. Quality may be reduced to meet the limit. For transparent PNG or WebP output, use Image converter, which does not promise a target file size.
Is PicFitly free? Do I need an account?
Yes. These image tools are free to use, require no account and add no watermark.
Do my images leave my device?
No. Images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. The hosting provider may keep normal access logs. Messages you choose to send through the contact form are transmitted separately, as explained on that page.
How many files can I process at once?
Choose up to 20 files, with a maximum of 20 MB per file and 100 MB per batch. Images are limited to 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side; total generated output is limited to 150 MB. On a phone, try fewer or smaller files if processing fails.
How do I download a batch or find my files?
After conversion, use Download beside each result or Download ZIP for all successful results. Failed files are excluded from the ZIP. Your browser controls where downloads are saved; check its downloads list. Download before clearing files, switching tools or closing the tab.
Why did conversion fail or my result disappear?
Read the error beside the file, check its format and size, and try a smaller batch. Changing output settings clears old results, so convert again. Switching tools or refreshing starts a new queue. If the problem persists, tell us the tool, browser and error message.
