How to use
Fit dimension limits and rotate images without stretching them.
- Choose your images
Click Choose files or drag JPG, PNG or WebP files onto the box. You can also paste a copied image with Ctrl+V or ⌘V. - Set your size and rotation
Enter Maximum width and/or Maximum height in pixels. Choose a rotation if needed. Keep Only make smaller checked to avoid enlarging small images. - Choose a format and resize
Select Save as, then click Resize images. The image fits inside your limits after rotation while keeping its proportions. - Preview and download
Click a result thumbnail to inspect it. Use Download beside a file or Download ZIP for the successful batch. Save your results before leaving the page.

FAQ
Why isn’t the output exactly the width and height I entered?
Width and height are maximum bounds. The image keeps its proportions and is not cropped or stretched, so one dimension may be smaller. Leave one field blank to constrain only the other dimension.
How do rotation and Only make smaller work?
Rotation is applied before fitting the image inside your size limits. Only make smaller prevents enlargement. Uncheck it to allow upscaling, but enlarging an image does not create missing detail.
Will resizing guarantee a smaller file in KB?
No. File size also depends on format, image content and quality. Use Compress to KB if you need a JPG below a particular upload limit.
Is PicFitly free? Do I need an account?
Yes. These image tools are free to use, require no account and add no watermark.
Do my images leave my device?
No. Images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. The hosting provider may keep normal access logs. Messages you choose to send through the contact form are transmitted separately, as explained on that page.
How many files can I process at once?
Choose up to 20 files, with a maximum of 20 MB per file and 100 MB per batch. Images are limited to 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side; total generated output is limited to 150 MB. On a phone, try fewer or smaller files if processing fails.
How do I download a batch or find my files?
After conversion, use Download beside each result or Download ZIP for all successful results. Failed files are excluded from the ZIP. Your browser controls where downloads are saved; check its downloads list. Download before clearing files, switching tools or closing the tab.
Why did conversion fail or my result disappear?
Read the error beside the file, check its format and size, and try a smaller batch. Changing output settings clears old results, so convert again. Switching tools or refreshing starts a new queue. If the problem persists, tell us the tool, browser and error message.
